AMMONIA
EMISSION CONTROL EXHAUST SYSTEMS
Dedicated ammonia abatement scrubbers are becoming
a standard in the semiconductor industry to prevent ammonium chloride
or ammonium fluoride formation in the duct. Pictured here is one
of two KCH FRP ammonia exhaust scrubbers at a major semiconductor
manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest.
This unit is designed for 17,000 SCFM of exhaust and
fabricated from premium vinyl ester resin, industrial grade glass
fibers and interior chemical barrier veil. Included with each system
is a KCH solid FRP direct-coupled centrifugal fan, seismic inertia
bases, recirculation system and plumbing, chemical supply tanks
with automated chemical feed system, master and scrubber control
panels with AB SLC 504 microprocessors linked via Ethernet to the
owner's master control system.
