VERTICAL FUME SCRUBBER EMISSION CONTROL EXHAUST SYSTEMS

A total of six KCH U.V. Stabilized Polypropylene vertical fume scrubbers were manufactured for this large semiconductor manufacturer. Each unit is fabricated from ¾" and 1" thick polypropylene and reinforced to withstand a 20" w.c. negative pressure. Because of the size, each unit measures approximately 13'x17'x32', each unit was fabricated in four sections and assembled in KCH's Forest City, NC facility prior to being disassembled and delivered to the customer. Each scrubber contains an overflow weir liquid recirculation system, twin FRP high capacity pumps with one as standby, high efficiency mist eliminator encapsulated in a removable frame, borosilicate glass viewing doors, and two marine grade lights for inspection of internals. The total exhaust capacity for this project is over 200,000 CFM.
